NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
The wife of an accused police impersonator is now being sought as his compliance.
Metro police said warrants have been issued charging Sabrina Thompson, 28, with criminal impersonation of a police officer, false imprisonment and theft.
She and her husband, Charles Virgil Thompson II, 31, are accused of stopping a driver on June 3 in the 800 block of Murfreesboro Pike. The victim pulled over after a vehicle with an interior flashing blue light began to follow him.
The victim surrendered his wallet to a man and woman posing as police officers, according to police.
Charles Thompson has also been charged in connection with a second incident on June 4 where he is alleged to have taken a man's ATM card and attempted to withdraw money while posing as a police officer.
Anyone who knows Charles and Sabrina Thompson's whereabouts should contact Metro Police or call Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
