WASHINGTON, DC (CNN) – ISIS is continuing to make more gains in Iraq and it's still unclear whether or not the U.S. will become involved.

Secretary of State John Kerry suggested to Yahoo News on Monday that the U.S. could cooperate with Iran.

A Pentagon spokesman is denying the country will be a part of any cooperation.

Lukman Faily, Iraqi ambassador to the U.S., said that whatever the decision is, it needs to be made soon.

"What we're saying is we cannot wait until tomorrow. A decision has to be made, it should've been made yesterday. From our perspective, the urgency over the ground are giving us less options and more radical options," Faily said.
