Crews from the City of Atlanta Department of Watershed Management continue to work on a water main break.
The main on Brewer Boulevard first busted Sunday. Crews were able to repair that issue but found a new problem once the water was turned back on.
Water service was shut down once again at about noon Wednesday. DWM expects repairs to be done by 10 p.m.
"We understand the repairs have created a tremendous inconvenience to residents affected by the repairs and water outage," said DWM Commissioner Jo Ann Macrina. "However, our crews have been on-site working diligently around-the-clock to make repairs and restore water service to our customers."
DWM crews will continue to deliver water to affected residents. Once water is restored, residents should run their faucets for a few minutes.
