The identity of a driver found shot and killed inside his car in NW Atlanta has been released by the Fulton County Medical Examiner's office.
Jeffrey Williams, 34, of Atlanta, was found in the 2300 block of St. James Drive NW late Monday around 11:25 p.m.
Atlanta police officers discovered a number of shell casings scattered around Williams' compact car.
"We have multiple shell casings out here on the scene, but again we can't tell everything that's going on. We're still processing the crime scene to determine exactly what happened," said Atlanta police Lt. Charles Hamilton.
The shooting remains under investigation.
