Expired food and raw chicken left sitting out are just two violations on a long list for one local sports bar in this week's Restaurant Ratings Report.

Ralphie's on Navarre Avenue in Oregon had 16 violations during an inspection on June 24. Aside from the expired food and raw chicken, they had food marked with the wrong expiration dates and food kept at unsafe temperatures.

Also on Navarre, Freeway Drive In had nine violations on June 19. Eggs, ham and cheese were all being stored at unsafe temperatures, and inspectors found expired ham.

The OK Wok, still on Navarre in Oregon, had 18 violations. Following the pattern, rice and egg rolls were stored at unsafe temperatures. Food was also being stored on the floor of the walk-in cooler.

Valleywood Golf Club on Airport Highway in Swanton had 11 infractions on June 13, including improper cooling of beef roasts, improper storage temperatures and improper holding temperatures for hot dogs and brats.

The Pizza Hut on Glendale was violation-free during a visit on June 23, but Blue Agave on South Reynolds had nine violations. Raw eggs were stored above ready-to-eat food, and drink mixes were left out at room temperature when they should have been refrigerated. A health inspector says this is a repeat violation.
