ATLANTA (CBS46) -

You can now check out some city of Decatur buildings without ever having to set foot outside.

The city has partnered with Google+ Business Photo and now feature virtual tours of several city buildings. These include Decatur City Hall, Decatur Fire Stations #1 and #2 and the Decatur Recreation Center.

"The city of Decatur is proud to be the first Georgia city to offer virtual Google+ tours of its facilities," Mayor Jim Baskett said. "We believe it is a great way to showcase city buildings, all of which have been renovated and updated over the past 10 years."

Baskett also notes residents can get a 360-degree virtual tour of the recreation center, allowing them to see rooms available to rent for events.
