The Chattanooga Times Free Press reports (http://bit.ly/1qEFgvp ) a grand jury in Gilmer County returned charges of sexual battery and sodomy Monday against Fields Chapman, Andrew Haynes and Damon Johnson. The indictment comes more than a month after the three former Calhoun High School students turned themselves in to Gilmer County sheriff's officials May 28 on charges of aggravated sexual battery.
All three men are accused of sexually assaulting an 18-year-old woman during a cabin party after their high school prom May 10.
The suspects were all 18 years old at the time. Attorneys of each of them did not immediately return phone calls seeking comment Monday.
