Puppeteers entertain kids with ‘The Cat in the Hat’

ATLANTA (CBS46) -

Dr. Seuss's classic tale The Cat in the Hat is entertaining Atlanta audiences this summer at the Center for Puppetry Arts.

The popular show returned to the center in June and continues through July 20 in the Mainstage Theater.

Adapted by Katie Mitchell and directed by Jon Ludwig, Dr. Seuss's The Cat in the Hat features tabletop and rod puppetry styles. All of the puppets, props and costumes were created onsite by the Center for Puppetry Arts staff.

Show times are as follows:

  • Tuesday - Friday: 10 a.m. and 12 p.m.          
  • Saturday: 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
  • Sunday: 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
