MARIETTA, GA (CBS46) -

A family of eight from Arizona is stopping in the Atlanta area this week on their summer-long, nationwide tour in which they do complete strangers' chores as a way to learn about helping others.

Gregg and Kami Murset and their six children began their journey in Phoenix on June 29. Since then, they've visited 21 cities and have done 281 chores for families that are in situations where they could use a little help around the home.

Gregg Murset is the creator of My Job Chart, an online app that teaches kids about chores and responsibilities. By bringing his family on the journey, Murset hopes to give his children hands-on experience helping people in need.

On Thursday, the Mursets stopped in Marietta to help a family on Promenade Court. The Mursets will be featured Thursday on Better Mornings Atlanta.
