ATLANTA (CBS46) -

CBS46 uncovered some serious health violations inside a popular Atlanta restaurant this week.

Red Pepper Taqueria at 2149 Briarcliff Rd. failed with 69 points and a "U" for unsatisfactory. DeKalb County health inspectors found raw eggs stored next to ready-to-eat foods. Plus, mushrooms, ham and shredded cheese were at unsafe temperatures.

"Is it safe to eat here, can you tell us that?" CBS46's Adam Murphy asked.

"I know it's safe to eat here, but I can't comment on anything right now," Red Pepper Taqueria Manager Jon Billick said.

During our visit we also noticed management posted the wrong health inspection score, misleading customers.

"You've posted an 86 and 'B,' but really you have a 69 and 'U,'" Murphy said.

"Sir unfortunately I can't comment on anything. I don't have permission to. I've been told that," Billick said.

There are good scores to report in metro Atlanta this week. In DeKalb County, Violette Restaurant at 2948 Clairmont Rd. received 93 points and an "A." In Fulton County, This Is It BBQ at 6045 Old National Hwy. in College Park picked up 96 points and an "A" and in Cobb County, Daily Bread Cafe at 531 Roselane St. in Marietta scored a perfect 100 and an "A."

Our featured restaurant of the week is Little Bangkok at 2225 Cheshire Bridge Rd. in Atlanta. They're a go-to spot for many customers that love their Chinese and Thai food. Plus, they've scored four 100s in a row.
