Clayton County police search for mask-wearing robber

CLAYTON COUNTY, GA (CBS46) -

Clayton County police are searching for the person responsible for at least a dozen robberies and attempted robberies.

The person is described as a man, 5'8," 140-150 pounds, and possibly has dreadlocks.

He always covers his face with a Scream mask. He has been known to wear a crimson hooded pullover with BAMA on the front and a purple pullover that reads Brown Track.

He always wears black pants, the same gray and white shoes, and gloves.

A witness said he has jumped into a burgundy Jeep Liberty or Patriot after one of the robberies.

Police said the man robbed a Family Dollar at 1335 Hwy. 138 at least once, Family Dollar at 7132 Tara Blvd. at least three times, a Family Dollar at 12186 County Line Road, and a sex toy shop, Starship Enterprises, at 7411 Tara Blvd.

Police have not released the other locations the man is suspected of robbing.
