FERGUSON, MO (KMOV/CNN) - A tense overnight on the streets of Ferguson.

Looters broke into at least three stores.

The shops included the one where police say Michael Brown committed a strong-arm robbery of a box of cigars the day he was fatally shot by an officer.

Authorities released surveillance video of last weekend's robbery on Friday.

The overnight looting happened near a tense standoff  between SWAT team members and demonstrators outraged by the shooting of the unarmed teen.

The SWAT team commanded protesters to get out of the street and onto sidewalks or go home, or be arrested.

Bottles flew back in their direction.

Earlier, bangs filled the air. It may have been gunfire.

Most of the crowds later dispersed.
