NAPA, CA (KOVR/CNN) – Down but not out on Friday, Napa is trying to get ready for a huge holiday weekend just days after a 6.0 magnitude quake rocked the area.

The damage estimate from Sunday's quake now stands at $300 million, and that number is expected to rise.

More than 800 homes and businesses have to be inspected, and the city is still working to repair 30 water line breaks. At one point, there were 120.

Police are patrolling downtown Napa around the clock to protect businesses that are boarded up.
