ATLANTA (CBS46) -

Get ready for lots of changes in our temperatures over the next seven days, as a series of cold fronts from the arctic realm visit the Deep South.

Our next front moves through Thursday morning. This front will only bring a few clouds, but gusty winds will produce Feels Like temperatures in the 20s and 30s.  However, this front is just a tease for the big event arriving on Saturday night. That one will bring in one of the coldest air masses of the year for all of the Atlanta metro area.

Right now, the CBS46 Weather team is forecasting temperatures Sunday morning in the teens, with wind chills well below zero. If you have church plans Sunday, you will want to be bundled up with extra layers. It will also be a great idea to check your vehicle's antifreeze so it cranks up during the cold snap. A fresh supply of firewood wouldn't be a bad idea either with the chill coming in. The record low temperature in Atlanta on Sunday is 13 from 1943.
