The same cold front that triggered Monday's rain is stalling from northeast Texas to north Florida. Said front will slowly return northward Tuesday morning, eventually allowing sunshine to give way to clouds and some rain and thunder. The amount of rain will be less than Monday, and won't arrive until mid to late afternoon Tuesday. Quite the opposite of Monday.
Dry, warm weather returns Wednesday, although fog can be an issue. One or two thundershowers can pop-up later Thursday. But, the next significant chance of rain and thunder area wide will be Friday night. A cooler, albeit brighter Easter weekend will be had in the wake of the rain.
