Rapper Young Thug jailed in Fulton County

Jeffery Lamar Williams, better known by his stage name Young Thug, is back in jail again.

After being taken to DeKalb County jail for a bond hearing, Williams bonded out of DeKalb County Jail Wednesday night. He appeared in a Fulton County courtroom Thursday morning and was taken to jail afterward.

He was booked on charges of Possession of a Firearm During a Felony, Possession of a Firearm During Commission of a Felony, Purchase, Possession, Manufacture, Distribution or Sale of Marijuana and Possession of Cocaine.

Police say the 23-year-old suspect threatened to shoot a security guard at the Cumberland Mall in Vinings on July 7. Police arrested Williams at his home in Sandy Springs on Wednesday.

Williams allegedly made the threat to security officer Chris May after being escorted out of the mall. 

Williams is known for his single "Stoner", a collaboration with other Southern artists. He was also arrested in Atlanta in February of 2014 for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Driving Without a Seat Belt, Reckless Conduct and Reckless Driving.
