Nick Gordon Lawsuit

The legal team for the former boyfriend of Bobbi Kristina Brown want a number of charges against him dropped. Bobbi Kristina's family sued nick Gordon for $10 million shortly after she was hospitalized. She died after months in a hospital, and then hospice care. Now, attorneys for Gordon want the suit amended. That's according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution. They say the suit has "damning allegations" without any evidence.

Duluth Body Cams

Duluth is the latest city to have police officers wear body cameras. The department posted a picture on Facebook. Officers will wear the cameras on their chests as they can provide additional evidence in cases. Smyrna added body cameras in July.

New Traffic Signal in Fulton County

A new traffic signal is going up in Fulton County, which is good news since many say it is a dangerous intersection. The new light is at the intersection of Campbellton Road at Union Road and Riverside Drive. People who drive through the intersection pushed for safer roads, so the county responded. The light goes green Wednesday morning.

72nd Annual Atlanta Professional Job Fair

There's a job fair Wednesday for veterans and college graduates. Take your resume to the Cobb Galleria on Galleria Parkway between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. The event is free.

Hartsfield Fire Drill

Don't be alarmed if you see smoke at Hartsfield-Jackson Airport Wednesday. Fire rescue will be simulating and extinguishing a plane fire. The exercise gets underway at 8 a.m. and should be done around Noon. The training exercise is part of the airport's annual certification for firefighters.

Canton Coffee With Cop

Have a cup of coffee with the Canton Police Department Wednesday morning. You can do so at the Starbucks on Riverstone Parkway from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The event is a great way for you to meet local law enforcement, ask them questions about the community and tell them your concerns.

New Suwanee Town Center

City leaders in Suwanee are giving the green light to a huge town center project. The council voted Tuesday night in favor of a $46 million development at Buford Highway and Chicago Street. That means more shops, condos and businesses in Gwinnett County. The expansion project could start as early as next year.

Chipotle Hiring

Restaurant chain Chipotle is hiring new workers. They're trying to fill 4-million jobs nationwide by hosting their first-ever national career day. You can fill out an application Wednesday between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. The company will host up to 60 interviews in each restaurant to fill both full-time and part-time positions.

New Law Building at GSU

There's a new building on the Georgia State University campus. A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. for the new law building on Park Place. Governor Nathan Deal and Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed will be there. The $83 million building is a first of its kind for the GSU legal program.
