A woman wanted for impersonating a nurse in Forsyth County has been arrested in North Carolina.

Taiwo Bolatito Sobamowo was taken into custody Monday and was picked on warrants of practicing as a registered professional nurse without a license, financial identity fraud and forgery.

CBS46 confirmed with Duluth Police that she also worked at Peachtree Christian Hospice healthcare facility with Bobbi Kristina Brown while she was in hospice care.

"She was doing what nurses do for patients," Duluth Police Department Major Don Woodruff said.

"Our investigator has advised me that yes she was there during the time that Bobbi Kristina was there at the hospice."

Police say she provided fake credentials, showing she was licensed to work as a registered nurse. She was terminated from the facility on August 5 after she was unable to provide the proper proof of licensure.

Peachtree Christian Hospice did not return CBS46 calls for comment.

Police report Sobamowo was a contract worker through Homestead Hospice out of Roswell. In a written statement Homestead Hospice says in part it obtains background checks on all staff through the state licensing board(s) and private agencies. It goes on to say this employee passed all credentialing checks.

Duluth Police say Sobamowo was using the credentials of another Atlanta medical professional who didn't know her identity had been stolen.

"People will do that consistently," Woodruff said.

"They will take another persons background and then they will copy it to make it look like theirs in order to get for example enhance their credibility."

Homestead Hospice says since this incident the company is re-credentialing all care staff.

Police say more charges could be filed against Sobamowo as their learn more about her actions inside these health facilities.

"You can't dispense medication unless you have a license to do that," Woodruff said. "Certainly that license is not there."

Sobamowo is currently jailed in Wake County, NC. She is expected to be extradited to Forsyth County.
