Georgia brewery plans to send water to Flint

ATLANTA (CBS46) -

A north Georgia brewery plans to send cans of water to residents affected by the water crisis in Flint.

The Anheuser-Busch plant in Cartersville said it will send more than 2100 cases of drinking water to the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan. The water should arrive the first week of February.

Earlier this month, the company donated 188,000 cans of water for residents of Missouri and Oklahoma affected by flooding and winter storms.The company has donated more than 74 million cans of emergency drinking water following natural disasters since 1988.
