A man and a woman were found dead in Gwinnett County, Monday, January 25.

They were discovered in two separate places along Wandering Way in the Arbors at Jackson Creek neighborhood of Norcross.

On Wednesday, February 24, Gwinnett County Police arrested Quintarious Walker for the murder.

Investigators said land surveyors working in the neighborhood first found the male victim, identified as 18-year-old Jaquille Thomas, lying dead between two houses.

He had apparent gun shot wounds, but no one on the street heard a bullet fired overnight.

Later in the morning, a man at the other end of the street called 911 to report his truck was broken into and tools were missing.

When officers came over to check it out, they found the female victim, identified as 19-year-old Angelique Bowmen, sitting in an SUV nearby, also shot to death.

Family said the two victims were in a romantic relationship with each other. Thomas' mother, Arnisha Winfrey said she took Bowmen into her home and began to care for her little more than a year ago. Winfrey told CBS46 she talked to her son on the phone a couple nights ago, but there were no signs of trouble.

The two bodies were hundreds of yards from each other when they were discovered.

Police later found a homeowner's security camera that captured an image of Walker and Thomas walking down the sidewalk together near the crime scene moments before the murder.
