Spartanburg, SC (CBS46) -

The Kennesaw State Owls pulled off their first win away from home Wednesday night by beating USC Upstate 78-75 in Spartanburg.

Kendrick Ray led all scorers with 23 points while dishing out 6 assists to lead the Owls to their first road win since February 21, 2015, a win over the Stetson Hatters.

Four Spartan starters scored in double figures but it wasn't enough to keep them from dropping their fifth straight game.

KSU snapped a four game losing streak with the win.

The Owls will return home to face NJIT on Saturday.
