Judge to allow evidence from phone, PC in hot car death trial

Posted: Updated:
COBB COUNTY, GA (CBS46) -

A judge will allow evidence from the phone and computer of a man accused of leaving his child to die in a hot car.

The attorneys for Justin Ross Harris wanted the judge to bar the evidence, claiming police improperly obtained the information with overly broad warrants.

Harris faces murder charges for the death of his son, Cooper, who was found hours after being left in an SUV on a hot day in June 2014.

Harris' trail is set to begin in April.
