ATLANTA (CBS46) -

April Lloyd has always paid her annual City of Atlanta sanitation bill on time. She never questioned the amount, but she should have.

When she bought her Edgewood home 11 years ago, the bill was over 700 dollars. Gradually it went past 800 dollars. But because Lloyd's mortgage company paid the bill out of her escrow account, she never paid much attention to it, until she started talking trash with the neighbors.

Llloyd discovered that the City of Atlanta was charging her neighbors half of what she was paying for garbage pick up. City officials admit that they overcharged her because they believed she had a second kitchen.

This single working mom estimates that she overpaid the city close to 4000 dollars. When it came time for a refund, city officials only agreed to refund a fraction of the full amount.

That's when she decided, she'd "Better Call Harry."
