CUMMING, GA (CBS46) -

A newly formed boy scout troop in Forsyth County spent the past summer volunteering and fundraising to buy camping equipment, and now they have to start all over.

Troop 1109 in Cumming, Georgia had all of their supplies stored in a trailer at a private storage facility in Buford.  According to the scoutmaster, that trailer disappeared without anyone noticing, and the video cameras failed to record anything useful.

No one knows exactly which day it was taken. One of the fathers discovered it was missing at the end of March. The last time the scouts dropped it off at the facility was in February.

Some of the money to buy the camping equipment was raised through car washes and popcorn sales, where the children put in hard work themselves.

Troop 1109 is asking for help through various fundraising outlets, including internet sites and social media.
