ATLANTA (CBS46) -

The Atlanta Falcons have waived Torrey Green, an undrafted free agent linebacker out of Utah State University after reports of two separate sexual assaults.

TMZ reported that Green was a suspect in two separate rape investigations while attending the university in Logan, Utah.

The Atlanta Falcons tweeted that Green was no longer with the club Thursday morning.

TMZ's NFL sources say the release was directly related to the investigations.

TMZ reports the sexual assaults both happened in 2015. In January, a woman accuses Green of pushing her onto a bed, removing her clothes and forcing her to have sex with him.

In November, a woman says he took her to his room, locked her inside and begged her to have sex with him. She says she told him no and he forced himself on her.

The Falcons did not specify why Green was released.
