Georgia Law enforcement are adjusting to a string of hit-and run crime in the state.

Annistown Road Hit-and-Run

On August 7, in Gwinnett County, 31-year-old Shiquata Johnson was struck by two vehicles while crossing Annistown Road.

While the first driver remained on scene, Phovath Phousavath allegedly fled and didn't report the incident to the proper authorities.

Speed, alcohol and seat belts have been ruled out as contributing factors in the incident. Phousavath was charged with a Felony Vehicular Homicide and a Felony Hit and Run.
