ATLANTA (CBS46) -

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets hope to win their fourth straight opener as they'll travel to Dublin, Ireland to take on Boston College on Saturday.

It will be an early morning start for both teams as kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 a.m.

The Yellow Jackets will be looking to forget a 2015 season that saw them finish 3-9 overall, after starting the season with consecutive victories. Georgia Tech's lost 9 out of 10 and their only win was a good one, beating No.9 ranked Florida State 22-16 at Bobby Dodd Stadium.

The Yellow Jackets are looking to turn things around and win some of the games they lost last season. The Jackets finished within a single possession in six of their nine losses.

The key for Georgia Tech will be getting redshirt-senior quarterback Justin Thomas corrected. Thomas had an off year in 2015, only completing 41 percent of his passes for 1339 yards, 13 touchdowns and 8 interceptions.

This came after Thomas' brilliant sophomore campaign where he threw for over 1,700 yards and 18 touchdowns, leading the Jackets to a top 10 finish.

Georgia Tech is also hoping for big things from sophomore running back Marcus Marshall, who led the team in rushing with nearly 650 yards. Senior Ricky Jeune heads the receiving corps, finishing last season with 520 yards.

The defense is led by a stout line and a solid secondary, that is guaranteed to be better than 2015.
