DeKalb County brush fire possibly ignited by cigarette

DEKALB COUNTY, GA (CBS46) -

Police say a cigarette may be to blame after a brush fire ignited in DeKalb County early Friday morning.

The fire started around 3:30 a.m. in an open area along Bouldercrest Road in Atlanta.

Firefighters were able to bring the blaze under control but two acres were burned.

No structures were damaged and there were no injuries reported.
