Woman arrested trying to use stolen identity to get a job

HALL COUNTY, GA (CBS46) -

A woman in Hall County is being held in Hall County Jail after she tried to steal someone's identity to get a job at an area business.

Maria Guadalupe Rico-Olivares, 20, is on an immigration hold as authorities try to work out her status.

Hall County Sheriff's Office said the woman signed several documents representing herself as a woman whose name, date of birth and social security card she was using unlawfully.

Her goal?: To get a job at an area business.

Hall County Sheriff's Office obtained warrants for Rico-Olivares' arrest and have put her in jail. The case remains under investigation.
