ATLANTA (CBS46) -

"Hosea Helps," formally "Hosea Feed the Hungry and Homeless" has helped Atlanta's homeless community for the past 45 years. Now, the organization says it no longer has housing.

"Hosea Helps" has been housed at 1035 Donnelly Avenue in southwest Atlanta for the past 26 years, but will now have to move out within the next 4 months.

CEO of "Hosea Helps," Elisabeth Omilami, spoke to V-103 Thursday. She says the organization's goal was to buy the building but the owners were offered more than $600,000 in cash by another buyer.

The organization offers a number of services including utility assistance, mortgage and rent assistance, and food assistance.

Hosea Helps was started 45 years ago by civil rights activist Hosea Williams. Williams died in 2000 after a battle with cancer.
