HALL COUNTY, GA (CBS46) -

Fire crews had to respond to two separate fires in Hall County on Tuesday.

The first fire was a house fire that occurred in the 2800 block of Gillsville Highway off Highway 129 just before 4 p.m. Officials say when they arrived, they found the 1,200 sq. ft. home filled with heavy smoke.

An individual had to be rescued from the home and was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation.

Officials say they're not sure what caused the fire at this time.

Meanwhile, while fighting the house fire, crews say they also responded to a fire in the woods between Smallwood Road, Microwave Tower Road, and Allen Creek Road in Hall County.

This fire was 5-10 acres, according to officials, who added that Georgia Forestry arrived to create a fire break around the fire.

Officials are also not sure what caused this fire, which included no injures.
