Victim loses $500,000 in lottery scam

If you have a loved one who is elderly, you need to be vigilant about scammers. An 86-year-old man thought he had won three million dollars in a lottery, but he wound up losing half a million dollars in savings. Then the scammers turned him into a "money mule," making him launder the cash of other victims. Better Call Harry has this man's tough lesson.

If you wired money through Western Union in a scam between 2004 and 2017, you may be able to get some of it back. The Justice Department is running the remissions program.
