Henry County suspects in fraud ring have been arrested

Police have learned that two suspects wanted for defrauding several people in Henry County also have more victims in various areas across the United States.

These suspects have now been arrested. 

Warrants were issued for Ronzlex Harris and Kaya Edwards and both were charged with several counts of identity fraud, forgery, exploitation of the elderly and theft by receiving.

According to police, Harris and Edwards would rent homes using the names of victims and would obtain fraudulent pay stubs and documents in order to turn on utilities at the home.

They're also accused of obtaining fake social security numbers in order to open bogus bank accounts.

Police conducted a search of the suspect's home on Haven Ridge Drive in Stockbridge and found documents and information pertaining to the victims. There are believed to be at least 17 victims overall.

The two suspects have netted over $100,000 so far and remain on the loose.
