200+ Wells Fargo employees volunteer for Super Saturday

ATLANTA (CBS46) -

More than 200 Wells Fargo employees rolled up their sleeves to work with twelve nonprofit organizations in Atlanta.

The volunteer efforts were in conjunction with "Super Saturday," a volunteer initiative in the southeast region.

Atlanta's nonprofit partners included the following:

•    Helping MaMas 
•    Literacy Action 
•    Atlanta Habitat for Humanity
•    Atlanta Beltline (partnering with Trees Atlanta)
•    Habitat Southern Crescent 
•    Atlanta Community Foodbank 
•    North Fulton Community Charities 
•    The Scholarship Academy 
•    Keep Gwinnett Beautiful 
•    Gwinnett Children’s Shelter 
•    Project Lift’s “Lift a Fork” 
•    NW Metro Atlanta Habitat for Humanity

As part of the effort with NW Metro Atlanta Habitat for Humanity, Wells Fargo donated $15,000 to the organization. More than 40 volunteers also spent several hours working on a home in Kennesaw. 

Other states included in Super Saturday were Alabama, Mississippi, South Carolina and Tennessee.
