ATLANTA (CBS46) -

Two tornadoes have been confirmed in metro Atlanta from Thursday night.

The first tornado touched down at the north end of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport at 9:12 p.m. and lasted for about a minute. This EF-0 twister had winds between 75-85 mph and damaged some cargo bins.

A picture of the tornado was taken by Barry Strait.

Meanwhile, a second tornado touched down at 9:40 p.m. in DeKalb County and also lasted for about a minute. This EF-0 tornado was in Avondale Estates and had winds of 70 mph.

Tornado warning for 29 minutes

A tornado was reported near Atlanta Airport, which -- along with rotation on Doppler radar -- led to a tornado warning being issued for DeKalb and Gwinnett counties at 9:40 p.m.

As the storm moved northeast, it eventually weakened and the tornado warning was canceled after 29 minutes.
