ATLANTA (CBS46) -

Belasse Boutique sits right next to where I-85 collapsed.

Myriam Belasse is the owner.

"Fantastic job," Belasse said.

That's how she feels about the rebuilding of I-85, but she admits the collapse has affected her business.

"The first week was very hard because with the closing of the highways and streets, people were unable to make their appointments so a lot of them canceled," Belasse said.

She was afraid the repair was going to take a long time, which would hurt business even more.

"I thought six months, and I was like, 'Oh my God.' I dreaded having that setback for six months in my business," Belasse said.

But repairs are expected to be completed no later than Memorial Day weekend. However, the construction company C.W. Matthews said it expects to have work complete by May 15.

Recent rain caused some delays. The final deck was poured over the weekend and crews have frames up for the barrier walls, but concrete still needs to be poured to form them.

If I-85 should open by next Monday, Belasse says she won't be surprised.
