DEKALB COUNTY, GA (CBS46) -

DeKalb County fire investigators are trying to determine the cause of a two alarm apartment fire that broke out in Brookhaven late Saturday night.

The fire started at the Sanctuary at Oglethorpe apartments on Ashford Dunwoody Road.

When crews arrived, flames were shooting through the roof.

DeKalb County Fire Captain Eric Jackson says crews were having difficulty fighting the fire after several vehicles ran over their fire hoses, causing decreased water pressure.

Police arrested Michael Zamorski and charged him with driving under the influence and crossing a fire hose.

Eight units were affected but thankfully, no injuries were sustained.

The Red Cross is assisting the families that were affected.
