FDA recalls Red Robin brand onion rings sold in stores

ATLANTA (CBS46) -

The Food and Drug Administration has issued a recall for Red Robin brand crispy onion rings sold at grocery stores across the U.S.

The recall was prompted after the manufacturer, Fry Foods, mistakenly packed product containing milk, which was not revealed on the label.

The frozen products comes in a 14 ounce bags and have a sell-by date of October 28 and October 29 of 2018. The products are not sold at red Robin restaurants, which are located in several U.S. states and Canadian provinces.

No injuries have been reported as a result of the recall.

Those who have purchased the product can return it to the grocery location for a full refund.
