CBS46 personalities read to children during "Books to Kids" event

SNELLVILLE, GA (CBS46) -

There were smiles across the board as CBS46 traveled to an elementary school in Gwinnett County for another installment of our "Books to Kids" program.

Students at Annistown Elementary in Snellville were surprised with 3,500 books.

Several CBS46 personalities were on hand to greet the children and read to them as well.

CBS46 gets the kids ready for what's ahead

CBS46's Vince Sims and Amanda Davis were also on hand to greet the kids and get them ready for what was about to happen.

CBS46's Sharon Reed talked with Lydia from Two Men and a truck about what it means to participate in the project and what the Book to Kids program means to children from local elementary schools.
