ALPHARETTA, GA (CBS46) -

Police are searching for a man accused of trying to sexually assault a woman as she was pushing her 1 year-old baby in a stroller at an Alpharetta park.

The woman says she was walking at Wills Park Recreation Center around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday when a man grabbed her and pulled her off the trail. Police say the suspect pushed her up against a horse stable near the equestrian park and tried to sexually assault her.

The woman was able to fight the man off by elbowing him and screaming for help. The man ran away and is still being sought.

He is described as a black male between the ages of 35 to 40 years of age. He was last seen wearing what appeared to be a mechanic's uniform: a gray shirt with patches, gray pants and black shoes.

Police say they're increasing patrols at all parks.
