LOCUST GROVE, GA (CBS46) -

Don and Janice Mason were excited about sharing a special trip with their grandson. The Masons would fly to Hawaii and meet up with Petty Officer Third Class Austin Norman on the USS Carl Vinson.

Because of Norman's exemplary record, the Masons were invited on what the Navy calls a Tiger Cruise, in this case going from Hawaii to San Diego.
