ATLANTA (CBS46) -

The Atlanta Braves announced Thursday that first baseman Freddie Freeman is expected to miss 10 weeks of action after suffering a non-displaced left wrist fracture.

The injury was revealed by an MRI and CT scan.

Freeman was hit on the wrist by a pitch in Wednesday night's game against Toronto.

The Braves say Freeman's wrist will be in a cast for four weeks.
