ROSWELL, GA (CBS46) -

The election to replace Tom Price, the 23rd U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services, is the most expensive congressional race in U.S. history.

The heated race between Democrat Jon Ossoff and Republican Karen Handel has led someone to steal campaign signs from one Roswell resident's yard.

Chelsea Clements of Roswell told CBS46 someone has stolen her Jon Ossoff campaign signs five times in the past few weeks.

"That's five times too many," said Clements.

Clements said she has filed three police reports, hung signs high on poles, and even nailed them to trees. She said she is now booby trapping them by adding petroleum jelly and glitter.

"I decided I wasn't just going to put my signs out for them to just come and take. They are going to have to work for it," said Clements.
