Driver who hit parked vehicle believed to be in possession of "Gray Death" substance

VILLA RICA, GA (CBS46) -

An unconscious driver that hit a parked car in Villa Rica is believed to have been in possession of the substance known as "Gray Death."

Kenneth Patterson, 47, was charged with DUI and possession of a controlled substance (heroin and Fentanyl).

Officers responded to the scene of the accident at a McDonald's on Highway 61. The officer noticed a plastic bag containing a grey powder on the driver's floorboard. 

Patterson was released from the hospital and taken into custody at the Carroll County Jail.

    Towers High School in Decatur was locked down Monday after a staff member attempted to commit suicide.
