COLLEGE PARK, GA (CBS46) -

A man accused of shooting at two officers and injuring one at a restaurant in College Park is now in police custody after being arrested Thursday morning.

Kendarrious Chester was taken into custody without incident at a home on the 1000 block of Metropolitan Parkway around 8 a.m.

Police say several tips led to his arrest.

Back on May 27, Chester was believed to have barricaded himself inside an apartment in College Park. However, upon entry into the apartment, he was not found.

Authorities say Kendarrious Chester shot at two officers while at Red Snapper restaurant located on Old National Highway and Old National Parkway on May 27. The officers were responding to a domestic call which involved a car theft.

At some point, Chester shot at officers. One officer was hit in the abdomen and the second bullet hit the other officer's radio. Both officers are expected to fully recover.

Another individual involved in the incident is also in custody.
