Acworth sailor killed in motorcycle crash in Japan to return home Tuesday

ACWORTH, GA (CBS46) -

The body of an Acworth sailor killed following a motorcycle crash in Okinawa, Japan will be returned home on Tuesday.

Savannah Cagle, 20, a U.S. Navy Master at Arms was killed along with her 21 year-old boyfriend Antonio Fuentes-Lebron, were killed in the crash when their motorcycle collided with another vehicle in Chatan town, Okinawa on May 18.

The driver of the other vehicle involved was uninjured.

According to her obituary, Cagle was born in Austell and spent most of her life in Cobb County. She is a 2015 graduate of Allatoona High School in Acworth. 

Cagle will arrive at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport Tuesday afternoon and her family has requested the Patriot Guard Riders stand a flag line for her arrival and provide an escort to Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw.

A visitation will be held for Cagle on Thursday from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home. Her funeral will take place at the funeral home at 1 p.m. on June 2.
