Weather permitting, the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) construction partners will alternately close an eastbound and westbound right turn lane on Abernathy Road from Barfield Road to Peachtree Dunwoody Road for subsurface utility investigations.

The plan is set to take place on Wednesday, May 31 through Friday, June 2 from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m.

Motorists are cautioned to reduce speed while traveling through work zones and to watch for workers.

Be advised the exact dates may change due to weather or other factors.

To get real time information on work status and traffic conditions before heading out, call 511, visit 511ga.org or download the Georgia 511 app.
