FOREST PARK, GA (CBS46) -

There are no rules when it comes to being an artist, meaning there is not a wrong or a right way to a creation.

Shakeyla Shinholster is a prime example of that.

Shinholster was born with a rare condition called Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita (AMC) which affects her mobility.

"My muscles did not fully develop while I was in the womb so I can't have mobility in them," said Shinholster.

Even though she is not able to use her arms, hands and legs, she still goes on to pursue her passion, which is art.

"Yes it is passion, I love art, it calms me down. I have to sketch something or I have to take pictures of things," said Shinholster.

Shinholster's mother, Angelia Martin, says that she found out during her seventh month of pregnancy that Shakeyla had AMC and she believes that Shinholster's talent is a gift.

Not only is Shinholster an artist, she is also the author and illustrator of two children's books titled "Max the Cat" and "My Friend Cory."

Shinholster wants to travel the world and hopes to showcase her pieces in art galleries.
