CATOOSA COUNTY, GA (CBS46) -

Police say a mom had to force her way into her 16-year-old son's bedroom, which is where she found him and another male dead.

The bodies were discovered on June 4 at a home in the 700 block of Post Oak Road in Ringgold, which is in northwest Georgia.

A spokesperson with the Catoosa County Sheriff's Office said when deputies and emergency personnel arrived at the scene, both individuals were confirmed to be dead.

The victims were identified as 16-year-old Montana White and 20-year-old Adam Ahlyege.

The police spokesperson said that while the official cause of death will be determined after an autopsy, investigators believe the deaths may be the result of a drug overdose.
