ATLANTA (CBS46) -

Karen Handel, the Republican candidate for Georgia's 6th Congressional District, is accusing her democratic opponent, Jon Ossoff, of not wanting national exposure because of his "flimsy resume."

Ossoff says he wants to focus on the local community, and also previously accused Handel of hiding from the media.

Nancy Davenport has heard the candidates attacking each other.

"He's jumping around to try to make her look bad," says Davenport. "She's doing the same thing."

Now with weeks to go, Handel is attacking Ossoff for not agreeing to a nationally televised debate on a cable network.

"I think he should have done that since he was being supported nationally," says Davenport.

His spokeswoman says Ossoff is committed to local debates moderated by members of the metro Atlanta press, and couldn't come to an agreement with that cable network.

Ossoff is also pointing fingers at Handel for not participating in a local forum in Marietta.

"The Handel people have been harder to track down," says CBS46 political analyst Bill Nigut. "She's been trying to stay out of the media limelight."

Richard Gilbert just wants to hear substance during one of two debates this week.

"I hope they discuss issues, not personalities, which I'm afraid that's what will happen," says Gilbert.

Even through both Gilbert and Davenport have already voted, they still want to hear more.

With the pool of undecided voters narrowing, according to recent polls, it remains to be seen who is left out of the undecideds, debate or no debate.
